Nachos
Non-dairy of course, but trust us, you won’t miss the lack of cheese. Chips! Of course you’ll need chips and these days there are many different kinds to choose from including gluten free. We like a multi-grain chip with Chia, Flax, Millet, Quinoa and Amaranth that is organic, non-GMO and gluten free. Remember to watch out for trans fats! (Check the label.)

Equipment
- Chef's knife, cutting board, and mixing bowl
Ingredients
- Chips – your favorite
- 1 15 oz can Black beans or refried beans heated
- ¼ C Red onion diced
- 2 T Jalapeño peppers (pickled) diced or sliced
- Guacamole (see guacamole recipe under Sides)
"Secret Sauce"
- 3 T Veganaise (non-dairy mayo) regular mayo works too
- 1 T Chipotle Tobasco sauce
Options
- ½ Red pepper diced
- 1 med. Tomato diced
Instructions
- We like to serve nachos a la carte, so all ingredients are in their own bowl
- Add layers of your favorite ingredients to each chip as in the photo above, or
- If you like to dip, mix the ingredients in a separate bowl and dip away
- Add "secret sauce"
