Start by slicing the avocado in half and removing the seed
Place halves in a bowl and mash with a fork
Add salt and pepper or other spices if you like
Prepare any toppings you like (see notes below)
Spread on toast or rice cake, add toppings and enjoy!

What's so great about avocado toast is that you can literally add any toppings you want. For example, we like sliced radish, jalapeƱo peppers and jicama, but you might prefer green onions, red pepper and salsa. Experiment to find your favorites.
