Oatmeal – a classic, inspired!

This classic can be made with any variety of oats, but to get the most from it, try steel cut oats, which leave most of the grain intact, thereby offering the most nutrition. Make it more interesting by adding raw nuts and honey, berries, or apples & cinnamon! Our daughter loves peanut butter on hers. Ground flax seed adds omega 3’s and fiber and almond milk is a great substitute for whole milk if you’re cutting down on dairy.
